Re-Route began its life in 2004 when a group of Internet-minded people with a range of skills came together to provide web design and development for small and medium-sized businesses. Initially based in Oswestry, Powys, we moved to other locations in Powys and Shropshire before settling in Shrewsbury in 2007.

In three years our reputation had grown, together with our client base, and our expertise had also developed, particularly in the area of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). In 2007 we topped the search engine charts in Google and Yahoo for several competitive keywords relating to web design and development. This helped us to become one of the UK’s fastest growing web development companies, with a reputation for expertise in SEO and Internet marketing.

Our personnel had also grown in that period, and the structure of the group became formalised with incorporation in 2007. Around this time two experienced directors joined the company to front our design and programming departments. This expansion helped us to build a stronger foundation to the group’s established portfolio, as the directors had completed highly successful projects for some of the world’s largest brand names. Their expertise enabled us to offer a wider range of commercial solutions to our clients.

We were also able to expand our operations to offices in Birmingham and Manchester, and in 2008 Re-Route launched another full-time office based in Poland. Our European office employs a design and development team, which ensures that our level of service continues to grow from strength to strength.

As a consequence of our work in online marketing, we have developed close working relationships with a number of companies operating in diverse sectors of the economy. In some cases the relationships have become more formal, with Re-Route buying shares and becoming part owners of our client’s company. Re-Route is now part owner of several companies including DSBS and Memigo.

This collaboration has enabled us to offer an expanding portfolio of services to our clients. Under the broad umbrella of Re-Route Ltd, you will find a number of different brands offering a whole range of Internet services from web design and development to SEO and other commercial solutions. We continue to work in partnership with a broad spectrum of companies in the joint enterprise of Internet marketing.
